Bad quality air in an industrial space hits workers before anyone in management notices. Heat builds. Fumes linger. Humidity makes everything worse. Contaminants build up too. By the time you notice, it's been a problem for weeks — sometimes months. Five to eight hours a day in a poorly ventilated space compounds fast. That's the problem we fix.
They generally work as a pair. Exhaust fans push stale, hot, or contaminated air out of the space. Intake fans bring fresh air in to replace it. Run exhaust without intake and you create negative pressure — the building starts pulling air in through gaps, cracks, and doorways, which you can't control. Run intake without exhaust and the air has nowhere to go, ending up circulating all the problems within the space instead. Getting the balance right is what makes a ventilation system actually work, rather than just move air around.
Depends on what's already there. If the existing setup is undersized, poorly positioned, or the wrong type for the space, adding to it often means spending money on a system that still doesn't work properly. On the other hand, if positioning is good and capacity is right, upgrading individual units can be the smarter and cheaper move. We usually recommend a site assessment before deciding either way. Most people are surprised to find out which direction actually makes more sense for their space.
